Monroe Institute Surgical Support Tapes

Anxiety before surgery is pretty normal. So women with endo will be happy to know about a wonderful series of scientifically based relaxation tapes developed and studied for use with surgery. In a study, women who used these tapes experienced significantly less pain and nausea following the operation, required less medication following the surgery, and returned to full activity quicker than the group that had not used the tapes. A couple of us at headquarters have tested the tapes ourselves when going through endo surgery and they're wonderful! Normally they cost $69, but you save $24 as a member because we purchased in bulk so we could pass these savings along to you. $45.00 U.S. / 68.00 Canada.

Important Note: Remember that even if we report on the work of a physician or if someone is considered an expert or innovator in the field, that does not automatically mean he or she is a good doctor or surgeon for you! You must learn all you can about endo, talk with other women as well as the important people in your life, and choose based on your needs. See the treatments section of The Endometriosis Sourcebook for tips on choosing a surgeon.
